This is poor island with neighbouring superpowers and italmost doesn't have economic and military bonuses?IMO worst idea groups:- Innovative.Д«asically it is set of 'better decay' ideas.5% tech cost is awesome but other than that I really see no reason to invest in this idea group.- Defensive. Decreased attrition? Decreased stability cost and reduced revolt risk for 5 - provinces country (+ colonies)? Isolated OPM in North America with -10% stability cost, +10% religious unity, +10% garrison growth, +10% national trade income? Especially this religious unity is complete nonsence, given the entire continent being Totemic.- Ireland. +2,5% discipline, +10% fort defense, +15% manpower, +0,25 army tradition per year (400 years to gain 100 military tradition).- Pueblo. +10% fort defense, +5% trade power, +5% production, +5% cavalry combat ability, +10% naval forcelimits. High tolerance of heretics in a country which arguably shouldn't expand into Europe, almost no directmilitary bonuses and naval forcelimits buff so late you can be dead before you get it.- Kurland. Fort defense and tolerance of the true faith for tiny theocratic island which should be occupied with fighting HEATHENS. No economic/expansive ideas.- Hedjaz.ДЄ bunch of various mediocre ideas which don't synergize into anything specialized.- The Knights. No military bonuses and few mediocre naval/diplomatic abilities which are not enough to compensate forthe presence of all neighbour superpowers- Chickasaw.Д«onus attrition, fort defense and land trade +10% home bonus may be epic in Asia but they are very strange for little American Indian tribal state. Bonus missionary strenght in a country which is hardly occupied even with Reformation. +20% fort defense in these few provinces against French 5x bigger army. 1 to national revolt risk in a small homogenous trade state.

Since the AI (in my experience) always keeps some galleys in the straight when they're at war, and if you engage them they'll funnel ALL their 90+ galleys into swarm you.

The worst thing is after the latest patch you can't use the Galley strategy while they're at war at least to my knowledge.These nations punch far above their weight through a mixture of incredible national ideas, optimal starting locations and unique and powerful mission and events.
